Fresh fruit, produce, crafts, oh my! It’s finally summertime which means long, hot days, going to the pool, and farmers markets! Farmers markets are great because you get to stock up on fresh fruit, produce, handmade crafts and more. Lincoln, Omaha and the surrounding towns have so many options of markets that each offer unique vendors so you’ll be sure to find what you’re looking for! (And probably stuff you weren’t looking for, but are fun finds.) Our DealAnyDay team put together this list of Summer 2017 Farmers Markets for you!
Fallbrook Farmers Market
Located in the heart of the Fallbrook neighborhood at 570 Fallbrook Blvd just northwest Lincoln off of Hwy 34 and 1st street. It runs June 22 until August 10 every Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. They offer SNAP dollars where you can get up to $10 in additional SNAP tokens to spend on fresh, local food with a dollar-for-dollar match. Sponsored by Farm Credit Services of America.
Fallbrook Farmers Market offers seasonal produce and plants, honey, baked goods, farm-raised meats and eggs, breads, pastries, pasta, jams, jellies, and occasionally featuring hand-crafted and artisanal products!

F Street Neighborhood Farmers’ Market
Right on the corner of F St and 13th, it’s open every Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. They have fresh produce, farm fresh eggs, lots of sidewalk chalk for the kids and they always have a grill going. We couldn’t find an ending date for this market, so check their Facebook page towards the end of the season.
Haymarket Farmers Market
Located in the Historic Haymarket, it runs every Saturday, May 6 – October 14, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., rain or shine. There are performers at the Iron Horse Park, located at 7th and “Q” Street between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
With over 200 vendor stalls, items that you can purchase range from baked goods, coffee, kettle corn, wine, jewelry, glassware, hand sewn items, mailboxes and so much more! The dog policy has changed and now only service dogs are welcome. Click here to see all the vendors.
Old Cheney Road Farmers Market
This market runs the longest season in Nebraska from late-April through October. Located at the Old Cheney Center on 55th and Old Cheney, the Old Cheney Farmers Market is every Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., rain or shine. Thanks to sponsor KZUM, every week from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., there will be a featured Nebraska-based artist performing live at the market.
There are over 60 vendors that include food all local to the community. They guarantee that all of the products sold at market are grown, baked, processed or produced by the vendor you buy them from. Products range from local produce, meat, cheeses, value-added products like salsa and jams, honey, flowers and more! Dogs are welcome, specifically friendly dogs that are well-trained and must be on a leash at all times. Click here for more details.
Bellevue Farmers Market
Located in Washington Park at 20th and Franklin in Bellevue, it runs from May 20 – September 16 every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., rain or shine. There’s live music every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
It’s about more than fresh foods: “It’s about community, family and learning more about healthy lifestyles.” The Bellevue Farmers Market features favorite produce vendors, artisans and others in addition to new vendors that will periodically visit the park. Each Saturday there’s an area food truck to provide breakfast/lunch to the attendees.
Dogs are welcome but must be leashed. The first Saturday of every month is family day, featuring FREE family fun activities for everyone to enjoy. More details? Click here.
Benson Farmers Market
The Benson Farmers Market began May 6th and runs until September 30th, every Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., rain or shine. It’s located at the Omaha Home for Boys at 4343 North 52nd St.

Charles Drew Health Center Market
This market doesn’t begin until July 5th and runs until August 30 every Wednesday at the Charles Drew Health Center (30th and Grant Streets) from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Vendors include: Sunderman Produce, Wenninghoff Farm, Rebel Seed Farms, Fork N Farm, Theilen Produce Gardens and Gene’s Green Thumb. Click here for details.
Florence Hill Farmers Market
You can go here from now until September 24th every Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. It’s located both inside and outside the historic Florence Mill at 9102 N. 30th St in Omaha. This market is conveniently located next to I-680 (Exit 13).
They offer fresh, local produce, meats, eggs, crafts and different music presenters vary each week. Florence Hill Farmers Market was awarded the 2013 Readers Choice “Best Farmers Market of Omaha!” To learn more, click here.
Omaha Farmers Market in Aksarben Village
Located at 67th and Center, it’s every Sunday from May 7 to October 15 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. There’s over 110 vendors, so you’re guaranteed to find something you’ll love! Learn more details here.
Omaha Farmers Market in the Old Market
Located in the historic Old Market (11th and Jackson) every Saturday from May 6 to October 14 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. With historic roots spanning more than 100 years, this site has been a mainstay for locals, and will continue to be for years to come. Papillion Farmers Market
Come to Papillion every Wednesday from May 31 – August 23 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m at the Papillion City Park. Other special events going on at the market include Parks and Recreation Celebration (July 12), Back to School Bash (August 9) and Closing Day (August 23).

Rockbrook Village Organic Farmers Market
Stop by the Rockbrook Village between June 1 and August 31 on Thursday nights from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. There will be a total of 11 vendors focused on local and responsibly-grown produce, grass-fed meats, free-range eggs, cheeses, herbs, artisanal candy and pastries, plants, flowers, homemade goods and more!
