    • It stems from everything we do as a company. Here at LocalAnyDay, we do things because we want to help others, not because we want something from them. As you’ll read, we are very connected to our Aloha Spirit.
  • What is ‘ohana team?
    • The ‘ohana team is the people who look out for the rest of us, our family. They create the foundation for Human Resource but we have to have a fun name to call ourselves!

What do you like most about your job?

“I love my job! Every day I learn, am challenged, and discover how fantastic our team and our customers are.”

What is the culture like at LocalAnyDay?

“Our culture revolves around Aloha Spirit – we are always looking for the positive…where everyone benefits. For example, at our all-company Hangouts (meetings), we talk first about everyone’s wins and celebrate with lots of snaps (snapping our fingers), shakas (Hawaiian gesture for aloha), and smiles.”

What has been the most rewarding outcome from working at LocalAnyDay?

“See how peoples’ lives are better: businesses connect with a mobile audience, users connect with local businesses, communities are strengthened, and our team members  find their talents and confidence in their professional careers.”

“Always be thinking about how you can help others – to be happy, to succeed, to feel valued. The right decisions happen when you put others first.”

“The thing that I like most about my job is how I learn new things every day. It feels amazing waking up in the morning and being thirsty to learn and grow.”

“Creating a lasting culture takes time. Put in the work up-front, be receptive to advice. Stay tune to the main elements of your culture, and LIVE your culture; don’t just preach it without backing it.”

“Being on the ‘ohana team, I enjoyed trying many different roles and responsibilities. I was able to test out event planning, recruiting, copy and concept writing, UI/UX experience, and business correspondence.”

“At LocalAnyDay we have an aloha-spirit atmosphere. Everyone is very caring and welcoming. We all help one another to accomplish a common goal, which is bringing the community together over great deals.”

“The most rewarding part of working at LocalAnyDay has been the amazing networking opportunities I’ve been given. I feel valued and appreciated by the team members I work with. It’s been a wonderful internship experience.”

“My advice would be to invest in getting to know your team members. Identify everyone’s strengths and weaknesses and always check to see that the individuals are learning, growing, and content with what they’re working on.”
